Free Reputation Report Card

To start, you give us the name that you want to search for. Usually this will be your name, but it doesn’t have to be.

Our system then does an online search for that name and we analyze the results that come back.

By looking at which results appear and how prominently, we are able to assign you a grade.

Enter the name that you want us to look for in the way that people usually search it.

For example, if your name is Jonathan Smith but everyone calls you Jon, you probably want to enter “Jon Smith.”

If you have a common name, you may also want to add some other bits of clarifying information, such as your profession or your city.

For example, “Jon Smith Dentist Minneapolis.”

Good – Select if you are happy that this search result is associated with your name.

Bad – Select if you wish this search result didn’t show up.

Indifferent – Select if you don’t care one way or the other about the search result.

The report card is based on a name, not a person. If there are other people with the same name as you, their results may appear when people search for you online.

Is this good or bad? It depends on how you feel about it.

If you’re happy that results about someone else appear, mark them “Good.” If not, mark them “Bad.” If you don’t really care one way or the other, choose “Indifferent.”

Yes, the current report card works in the US and the UK. Other countries are in development.

There are certain types of websites that are usually good or bad, so when those appear in a search for your name, we automatically score them.

However, some aspects of reputation are “in the eye of the beholder.” That’s why we ask you to score some results yourself.

If you mark those results “Bad,” they will decrease your grade. If you mark them “Good,” they will increase it.
